Pair it with your account
How the side panel finds out who you are, and how to unpair.
The extension knows which Chrome it is in. Only the Peltify page knows who you are. Pairing is those two halves meeting.
It pairs by itself
Open peltify.vercel.app/demo in a tab and open the side panel. The panel shows This browser and, under it, who it is paired with. That happens on connect; there is nothing to type.

Unpair
Press Unpair in the panel. The refusal is remembered for that site until you press Pair again, and an unpaired extension knows nobody — it reads for no one.

Anonymous works too
If you walked in without an account, the panel pairs with that browser-only identity. Sign in later and everything you scanned moves with you.
