Media pages and ratings

Every film, show, album, song, artist and book has a page, with Peltify's own rating beside the critics'.

Every work has its own page: open a card's title or cover, or search for it.

What a page shows

  • The cover, the kind and genres, the maker, the year and the length.
  • Peltify's rating: the average of the stars given by people on Peltify, shown as gold stars.
  • The scores the work has elsewhere, each named by its source: IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic for films and series; Last.fm listeners and plays for music; reader ratings for books.
  • What it is about, and where that text came from.
  • Play (a song in full, or a trailer), Open on (your services), Save, Pelt.

Rating

  • Tap a star to rate it. Rating something puts it in your library as seen, heard or read.
  • When nobody on Peltify has rated a work yet, its page says Be the first to rate, and the stars are right there.
  • Your ratings are the strongest thing the chat learns from.
  • Under the rating: the work's Reviews (press Write a review to add yours) and the Posts that name it. Home, posts and reviews says more.
