Peltify 0.4.0.0: One look, and Go

Hello,

This round is the UX and UI passes. The site got one look, the chat shows its picks inline, and every pick has one tap to where you can actually watch, hear or read it.

The look

  • One look across the site: Paper in light, Ink in dark.
  • Two typefaces site-wide: Inter and Newsreader.
  • Type, spacing and columns grow with the screen, up to 2560 pixels wide.
  • Phone tabs: Home, Search, +, Library, Profile.
  • Phone sheets work like Instagram's comments: a grab bar, follow the finger, flick to close.

Chat

  • Picks show inline, in a band you swipe, instead of popups.
  • Have you seen it? answers Not interested, Not yet or Seen it.
  • Type "I watched X" and it is filed as seen, with Undo.
  • A mic puts speech into the box. It never sends by itself, and it is hidden where the browser cannot listen.
  • History and Choices are one panel. A chat's title follows what it became.
  • The chat never says you rated something you did not, and never repeats a slur.
  • A round runs its lookups in parallel and lands the deck before its why lines.

Go

  • Go is one tap from a pick to the real service. For film and TV it checks where to watch.
  • When that check fails it says it could not check, not "not found".

Media pages

  • The page opens on the briefing: should I, and where? Everything else is below.
  • A reviews row: one chip per real score, with its source.
  • English descriptions first. A description in another language is labelled.
  • Album pages show every song. A runtime reads as hours and minutes.

Home and posts

  • Your list: what you saved and have not seen yet, as a band with Go, Seen it and Not for me.
  • A post's works each carry Go and Save for later.
  • Share is Pelt, Send to, Copy link.

Profile, Settings and Messages

  • Profile is Posts, Shelf, Stats. Favourites are what you pinned, public with your stars.
  • Settings is one grouped list. You can sign one account out of every device.
  • In Messages a pencil starts a conversation, and @ sends a work as a pelt. One pelt can hold several works.

Search

  • Results have depth: an album opens its tracklist, an artist their albums.

Not done yet

  • A new library layout went in on 2026-09-30 and came back out the same day. The library kept its old layout.
  • The mic does not identify a song by listening.
