Hello,
This round is the week after 0.1.0.0. Peltify narrowed to four kinds of media, the chat learned to work out what you are talking about before it suggests anything, and the media pages and the library were rebuilt.
What Peltify covers
- Music, film, TV and books. YouTube videos, Twitch, podcasts and games are gone. YouTube Music stays as a source.
Chat
- Name a work, or describe one, and the chat checks which work it is first. When it is not sure, it asks "Is this it?" before going on.
- The picks follow what you asked for, in every medium. Your library only re-ranks them, and one creator gets one pick per round.
- Nothing already in your library comes back as a pick, and the works you named are never the answer.
- Every star you give steers the next round. A run of low ones steers away from that genre.
- The words in an ask filter the picks: instrumental, a decade, a mood, a style, "under two hours".
- The why under a pick is one sentence about that work, said after the deck.
- A chat you put away is kept, listed, and picks up where it stopped. The chat remembers across chats.
- The round's steers sit above the deck as pills. Removing one redraws the picks.
- A Taste sheet shows what the chat knows about you, and lets you change it.
- One @ picker for chat, posts, comments and messages. "jdilla donuts" puts the album first and its tracks after.
Media pages
- The header puts the title inside the image. An artist gets a wide photo.
- One row of actions: stars, Save, Share. A visitor's tap opens a sign-in sheet and finishes the action after.
- Share opens Pelt it, Send to, Share to and Copy link.
- About comes first, one sentence with more behind it. A person or group shows their years.
- An artist's discography is a row of covers. Show all opens its own page at /media/artist/name/releases.
- On a computer the page is two columns: the header and actions stay on the left while the record scrolls.
Library
- One row per work. Two imports of the same work are merged, and the counts are of works.
- A star under any cover rates it in place and files it as seen. Nothing opens.
- Recently added by default, kind chips across the top, tiles that stay the same size.
Scan and connections
- One verified state per platform, and the scan page draws one tile for each.
- One Scan button runs every connected platform with live progress. Each tile can scan on its own.
- "Open on" follows the platforms you connected.
- Disconnect drops one platform's saved session.
Pelts
- A pelt can go to several people at once, one pelt each.
Onboarding
- A first-run grid: tap the works you love, related ones slide in, and it ends on your library with suggestions from what you tapped. It is switched on only on the staging site.
Security
- Fixes from a security audit on 2026-09-22: sign-in states can no longer pass as a session, admin rights bind to the first verified owner of a listed handle, deleting a message checks it is yours, allowance spends are atomic, the server only serves files on an allowlist, and the AI route needs a session.
Not done yet
- The first-run grid is not on for everyone.
